The Greenway follows the route of an abandoned railway line. This bridge is 68m long and 22m wide and will feature grass verges to facilitate wildlife crossings.

HS2 Project Progress

With the new bridges open, HS2’s contractors can begin demolishing the old road section to allow for the cutting that will accommodate the new railway. The Greenway currently crosses the B4455 at ground level. This crossing is scheduled to be replaced next year with a new bridge.
