Ottowa’s Federal Government is to give almost C$700m to boost funding for Canada’s Via Rail, over the next five years.

Transport Minister Lawrence Cannon announced the C$691.9m initiative to help Via Rail refurbish passenger train services at Union Station in downtown Toronto, according to Canadian news site
