Moscow-Kazan High Speed Railway Current Estimated at $22,4 bln

Construction cost of Moscow – Kazan high speed railway is recently estimated at 1.3 trillion rubles ($22.4 bln), First Vice President of Russian Railways Alexander Misharin told  Tuesday at the Russian Investment Forum (Sochi 2017).

“We see now the total project value does not exceed the price stated in the pre-investment feasibility study. Considering the adjustment in prices of relevant years, the total cost is currently valued at 1.3 trillion rubles ($22.4 bln), which is actually in line with our calculations,” Misharin said.



Trains will be produced in Russia

Freight trains for Moscow – Kazan high speed railway will be produced in Russia, Misharin said.
