Introduction

Southeastern will introduce 3D maps at 70 stations and update 69 others by the end of March 2026, enhancing passenger navigation and travel confidence across its network.

3D Map Rollout

Following a successful trial period, Southeastern will implement 3D station maps at an additional 70 stations. These maps provide a detailed, scaled representation of each station layout to aid passengers in identifying facilities and accessibility features.

2D Map Updates

Concurrently, 69 stations will receive updated 2D maps. These updated maps will reflect recent upgrades and improvements to station facilities. The updated maps will ensure that all passengers have access to current and accurate station information.

Website Availability

All maps, both 3D and 2D, will be available on the Southeastern website. Previously, these maps were only accessible via the National Rail Enquiries website.

Project Timeline and Scope

The rollout of both the 3D and 2D maps is scheduled to be completed by the end of March 2026. The 3D maps will cover more than two-thirds of Southeastern’s stations once the project is finished, increasing accessibility and confidence for passengers across the network. Stations receiving the new 3D maps include Greenwich, Rochester, Maidstone East, Folkestone Central, Beckenham Junction, Canterbury East, Margate, and Whitstable. The 69 stations receiving new 2D maps include Hither Green, Brixton, East Malling, New Beckenham, and West Dulwich. Currently, 3D maps already cover Ashford International, Canterbury West, Chatham, Dartford, Gillingham, Lewisham, London Waterloo East, Orpington, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, and Tunbridge Wells.
