Introduction

SNCF Voyageurs has opened bookings for TGV INOUI, OUIGO, and Intercités services for travel between 8 January and 29 March 2026, with some destinations available until 3 July 2026. This includes increased capacity for the winter season, focusing on mountain destinations and expanded international options.

Winter Capacity Enhancements

To support winter tourism, SNCF Voyageurs is increasing capacity to major ski destinations. During peak demand on winter holiday weekends, the full TGV fleet will be mobilized, with 850 TGV INOUI services planned over the five-week holiday period. On Saturdays in zone C, this equates to a departure every 15 minutes from Paris–Gare-de-Lyon.

Specific Route Additions

TGV INOUI is reinforcing its direct Paris–Tarentaise valley services on Fridays and Sundays between 20 February and 8 March 2026. Compared with winter 2025, the program adds:

  • A new direct Paris–Bourg-Saint-Maurice service on Sundays.
  • Increased frequency on Friday afternoons on the Paris–Bourg-Saint-Maurice route.
  • A new direct service from Lille to Bourg-Saint-Maurice on Sundays.

These additions, combined with double-set formations on selected services, will provide 16,000 extra seats and greater flexibility.

OUIGO and Intercités Services

OUIGO Grande Vitesse will operate a daily round trip between Paris–Gare-de-Lyon and Bourg-Saint-Maurice from 18 December 2025 to 29 March 2026, with fares starting at €19. Intercités continues to provide daytime and overnight access to mountain regions, including the Massif Central, Alps, and Pyrenees. International links remain available via TGV Lyria (Switzerland) and TGV INOUI services to Italy.

International and Extended Booking Windows

Eurostar’s seasonal “Snow” offer will run from Amsterdam, Brussels, and London, serving Alpine stations. Services operate on weekends from December 2025 to April 2026, with variations depending on the origin station. SNCF Voyageurs is testing extended booking windows on direct South-East TGV INOUI routes, now bookable up to six months in advance. From 12 November, tickets for direct services between Paris–Gare-de-Lyon and destinations including Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Grenoble, Annecy, Bourg-Saint-Maurice, Toulon, Perpignan, Toulouse, and others are available up to 3 July 2026. Since 5 November, OUIGO Train Classique France tickets have been available 60 days before departure, with fares ranging from €10 to €49. All OUIGO Grande Vitesse destinations remain open through 3 July 2026, covering more than 70 routes.

Booking windows for international services are as follows:

  • The timetable for services between France and Germany (TGV INOUI and ICE) is open for sale until 8 December 2024.
  • Tickets for journeys to Italy are on sale until 26 March 2025.
  • Journeys to Spain and those on the France–Barcelona line are on sale until 11 September 2025.
