CDPQ Infra announced on Monday that the Deux-Montagnes branch of Montreal’s REM light-rail service is expected to open on November 17.

Subject to the successful completion of remaining tests, REM trains will commence service on the Deux-Montagnes branch. This includes service to the stations and three connections to the Montreal metro subway system. The launch will provide service from downtown Montreal to the suburb northwest of Laval, Quebec.
