Progressive Railroading has initiated the nomination process for its 2026 Women Of Influence In Rail program.

Main Content

Nomination Categories

The magazine is accepting nominations of female employees who have demonstrated influence in one of four categories: leadership, innovation, technology, or sustainability.

Nomination Criteria

Nominations should highlight the nominee’s significant impact on their company and/or the rail transportation sector.

Eligibility

Companies can nominate up to four employees, with one nomination per category. Eligible nominees include women employed by North American Class I railroads, short lines, regional railroads, passenger railroads, or rail industry suppliers, contractors, product manufacturers, or engineering firms that work with railroads.

Additional Eligibility

This year, nominations will also be accepted for women working for rail industry associations.
