Project Scope

The proposed light-rail extension will provide service from the current terminus at Tonnelle Avenue in North Bergen to a future terminal at Englewood Hospital in New Jersey.

Route and Infrastructure

The extension, as proposed, will include seven new station stops across five municipalities. The electric light-rail service will run along West Side Avenue in North Bergen, and then utilize existing railroad right-of-way owned by CSX between 91st Street in North Bergen and the northern border of Englewood.

Station Locations

The new station stops will be located in North Bergen, Ridgefield, Palisades Park, Leonia, and Englewood.
