MTA NYCT Subway Service Boost: Congestion Relief & Rail Improvements

A Line Service Enhancements
NYCT added one round trip each to the Lefferts Boulevard thoroughfare and the Far Rockaway station terminus on the A line.
L Line Service Enhancements
The L Line saw an increase of four roundtrips during the morning rush hour. These service improvements were made possible by upgrades to the line’s traction power system.
Schedule Revisions
Weekday evening rush and weekend schedules are being revised to better align service frequency with ridership.
