Introduction

American Track, a subsidiary of North American Rail Solutions, has appointed Stacey Posey as chief operating officer. Simultaneously, The Port of New Orleans (Port NOLA) has named Chris Gilmore as chief engineering officer.

American Track Appointment

American Track, a subsidiary of North American Rail Solutions, has appointed Stacey Posey as chief operating officer. Posey began his railroad career in 2001 with CSX, where he held positions in engineering and transportation. He later served as vice president of operations and president/CEO of Montana Rail Link. Posey’s background also includes leadership roles at OmniTRAX Inc., where he contributed to engineering, operations and acquisitions. North American Rail Solutions CEO Tom Lucario stated, “We could not be happier to have the opportunity to add someone of Stacey’s caliber to the team. We look forward to bringing his ‘in the field’ style of leadership to the broader organization.”

Port of New Orleans Appointment

The Port of New Orleans (Port NOLA) has named Chris Gilmore chief engineering officer. Previously, Gilmore served as Port Nola’s vice president of engineering and program management, a role in which he was instrumental in advancing major infrastructure initiatives. He also has served as the project leader for the Louisiana International Terminal.

Gilmore’s New Role

In his new role, Gilmore will oversee the port’s engineering, facilities, maintenance and environmental teams. Beth Branch, president and CEO of Port NOLA and CEO of New Orleans Public Belt Railroad, stated that Gilmore “brings deep expertise, institutional knowledge, and unwavering dedication to guide our infrastructure strategy, most notably the transformative Louisiana International Terminal project that will strengthen Louisiana’s role as a global gateway.”
