Alstom has appointed Marc Bernier as Vice President, Rolling Stock and Components (RSC) for North America, effective December 1, a move set to bolster the company’s regional engineering, development, and production capabilities. Simultaneously, TNW Corp. announced significant leadership additions to its Texas-based logistics operations, including new directors for operations and safety, alongside a senior sales manager.

Bernier, who has served as Alstom’s Chief Financial Officer for the Americas since 2021, will now leverage his financial acumen to oversee the company’s vital North American RSC engineering, development, and production sites. His mandate includes driving the successful delivery of rolling stock projects across the region, encompassing Alstom’s extensive portfolio of high-speed trains, commuter rail vehicles, and light-rail systems.

Operational Expansion at TNW Corp.

In parallel, TNW Corp., a key player in Texas logistics operating three short lines and multiple transload facilities, has strengthened its leadership team to enhance its service offerings. Phil Logan assumes the role of Director of Operations, bringing over 30 years of experience in short-line and Class I railroad operations, where he will be responsible for overseeing all railroad transportation and locomotive functions. Michael Payne joins as Director of Safety, Environmental and Safety, a U.S. Air Force veteran with three decades of rail industry experience in safety management, operations, and workforce development. Levi Gracy has been appointed Senior Sales Manager, adding his industry expertise gained since 2007 to TNW Corp.’s commercial efforts.
