DNV Publishes Compliance Guide to Streamline ERA Integration for European Rail Operators

DNV, a leading European assurance and risk management firm, has released a comprehensive guide to help rail operators align with the European Union Agency for Railways (ERA) guidelines and Common Safety Methods (CSM). The report outlines actionable steps for integrating real-time safety reporting and proactive risk management into daily operations, emphasizing compliance to avoid penalties under stricter regulatory frameworks.

Under the updated ERA requirements, operators must transition from static, retrospective safety reporting to dynamic, real-time monitoring of safety performance.
